On the upside online looks promising and the game is really really fast and generally streams the world well the way need for speed should be! I'm giving it 8.5/10, there's an interview on the website with one of the games producers. Also there's no day night cycle or weather effects, so about hour 6 into the game you start to really wish for a cchange of scenery. We're reviewing the 360 version, and it's not on the final code, so it's possible things will change for the final release of course, but there's some distractingly framey areas in the world when there's heaps of debris or too much traffic. Sounds pretty good so far Baj, any complaints? How many times have you lost a whole open world race because of one wrong turn Jung?Įxactly! Come on folks, bumper bars are great, don't fear them because they take away from an open world experience, they add so much more because you can actually enjoy a race, rather than just try to compass your way through it. It does look like that, and some race modes are but the best part about Undercover is that when you have a race the yellow bumper bars go up and it lets you focus on racing, as opposed to navigation which is a fundamental problem all open world racers have.

It looks a bit like an open world racer Baj. I found a really soft grip was the way to go if you're into that 'burnout feel' which I am definitely into. But NFS Undercover comes to the rescue, the physics are good, the drift is great and if you don't like it, you can tweak it. Carbon didn't really get the drift right, pro street was just a bit meh all round. Ok Jung! It's no secret that that long running franchise NFS has had some lemons. Ok Bajo, you gotta be gone in 60 seconds tell us about NFS Undercover
